Prior to launching Bluebird Title, Jon served as Director of Internal Audit at a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), where he established the internal audit department for a newly formed public company. In this role, Jon implemented robust financial controls, developed enterprise risk management strategies, and provided critical SOX compliance updates to the audit committee, ensuring transparency and alignment with corporate governance best practices.

From 2011 to 2015, Jon held key leadership roles at a global technology manufacturing company, including Vice President of Accounting and Finance. His leadership extended to strategic budgeting, ERP implementation, and market expansion in South America. Earlier roles included Controller and Manager of Internal Audit, where he was instrumental in financial reporting, process improvement, and compliance initiatives, including work recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Jon began his career in public accounting in 2002 with KPMG LLP, where he advanced from associate to manager in Audit and Assurance Services, gaining deep expertise in consumer markets, healthcare, and financial reporting.
